Role Description the Travel Agency Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Youngstown, OH. This role is responsible for overseeing daily agency operations, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring consistent, high-quality customer service. The manager will coordinate and promote travel packages, organize guided tours, negotiate with vendors, and monitor sales performance to meet revenue targets. Day-to-day tasks include advising clients on destinations and itineraries, resolving issues or complaints, maintaining accurate booking and financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role also involves training team members, implementing sales strategies, and supporting marketing efforts to grow the agency’s client base. Qualifications Experience in travel agency operations and knowledge of travel booking systems and processes. Must have travel experience Experience in TRAMS, Client Base, and financial experience is a plus. Skills in organizing and coordinating guided tours, group travel, and customized itineraries. Proven team management abilities, including staff supervision, coaching, and performance oversight. Strong sales and sales management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on-site full time in Youngstown, OH and manage multiple priorities under deadlines. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for handling bookings and documentation. Previous experience in leisure travel, tourism, or hospitality is preferred.
