Provide education for patients and their families to optimize therapy outcomes beyond the clinical setting. Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring an unbroken continuum of care. Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and institutional standards. Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire. Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic methods for all age groups, with a solid grounding in both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adept in modifying therapy techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical judgment coupled with innovative problem-solving capabilities.
