Trenchless Today, a national leader in trenchless pipe rehabilitation, is looking for a Lead Civil Estimator/Bidder to oversee and drive our large commercial and municipal project bidding efforts. This is a senior-level role for a results-oriented leader who thrives on balancing competitive pricing strategies with profitability. The Role: As the Lead Civil Estimator/Bidder, you will own the estimating and bidding process for multi-million-dollar trenchless infrastructure projects. You’ll set the standard for accuracy, strategy, and profitability—analyzing risk, managing margins, and ensuring Trenchless Today delivers smart, competitive proposals. You’ll also mentor and guide junior staff while working directly with leadership, engineering, and project management teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of estimating and bidding for high-value commercial and municipal projects. Develop pricing strategies and margin targets to ensure profitability while remaining competitive. Interpret and review RFPs, specifications, and project plans for scope and risk evaluation. Oversee bid preparation, submission, and client presentations. Collaborate with leadership to establish bidding protocols and cost-control measures. Build strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and engineers to strengthen market positioning. Mentor and provide technical guidance to estimating team members as the department grows. Qualifications: 5+ years of civil construction estimating/bidding experience; trenchless technology knowledge a plus. Proven ability to analyze costs, margins, and profitability in infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of municipal procurement and competitive bid processes. Skilled at interpreting plans, technical documents, and contractual terms. Proficient with estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
