CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerThe CNC Programmer located in Grandview, MO reports to our Plant Manager and is responsible for developing new CNC programs, designing tooling and creating machining processes. The role is seen as a leader and the subject matter expert in the area of metal machining. These functions are performed in a fast paced manufacturing environment that produces existing and new products.Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):Safety Incident RateOverall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)Production Cycle TimeOperation EfficiencyFinished Goods QualityCustomer On-Time ShipmentRequirementsRequired Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:Must have sufficient experience and training in machine shop practices.Expertise in machine programming, set-up, and operation of both manual and CNC equipmentExtensive knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, 2D and 3D models.Experience as a leader and proven ability to effectively lead individuals and teams.Expertise and experience running, setting up and programming multiple machine platform types (Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, Sub-Spindle Lathes)Must display and maintain a positive attitude.Must have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to present and implement positive changeWorking Conditions:Work environment is very fast paced.
