NorthStar Behavioral Health is seeking an organized and professional Front Desk Client Services Representative to join our team. The Front Desk Client Services Representative plays a key role in creating a welcoming, respectful, and confidential environment for clients seeking behavioral health and clinical services. This position supports daily office operations, scheduling, and communication while ensuring a positive client experience.

What We Require for the Front Desk Client Services Representative Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of front desk, customer service, and medical office experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and scheduling systems).
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- Current vaccination for tuberculosis (TB) or willingness to be vaccinated upon hire.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Check clients in/out and verify appointment details.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using EHR systems.
- Collect and update client demographic and insurance information.
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or balances at the time of service.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and PHI.
- Process intake paperwork and ensure completeness of all required forms.
- Monitor and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
- Support administrative and clinical staff as needed, while supporting the organization’s core values of kindness, honesty, and respect.
