Recruiting SpecialistPlano Campus - Plano, TX 75093DescriptionResponsible for performing various Human Resources ("HR") related duties primarily focusing on recruiting and onboarding new staff at Prestonwood Baptist Church ("PBC") and its entities.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the recruiting process to include:Utilizing the Human Resources Information System ("HRIS") for applicant trackingReviewing resumes and screening candidatesMaking recommendations for further interviewsEnsuring timely posting and closure of positionsProviding updates to the Human Resources DirectorEnsuring recruiting and application retention compliance guidelines are followedOversee new hire orientation processEnsure background screening and reference check processes are followedOversee badges process for staff and volunteersMonitor jobs inbox dailyResearch and attend external recruiting opportunitiesAssist with:Supervising Greeter/ReceptionistsOffboarding employeesUpdating data in the HRISSemi-monthly payrollDocument HR processesCross-train to provide backup HR support as neededAssist with HR department related projectsOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequirements:Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a PBCHigh expectation to uphold confidentiality of HR dataCollege education, preferably in Business Administration or Human ResourcesThree to five years comparable experiencePrior church or non-profit experience a plusHR certification or intent to obtain HR credentialsStrong attention to and accuracy in detailExcellent planning and organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsComply with all HIPPA privacy lawsAbility to multitask, problem solve, and work with a sense of urgencyHighly proficient in use of Microsoft Office productsExperience working with HRIS systems preferredAbility to work a Monday – Friday schedule with occasional Sundays as neededAble to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, use of stairs, and working at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time with the ability to perform continuous repetitive hand and finger movements
