Patient Services Specialist - Diabetes Education Center

Description Handles all incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, transfers calls to appropriate person(s) within the clinic or takes detailed messages. Schedules patients' appointments in-person at the reception desk or over the telephone. Also provides training and orientation of new staff and to ensure smooth clinic, patient flow by greeting and directing patients to their appointments by preparing the daily clinic schedule, by maintaining patients files and records. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
