Senior Accountant

A growing industrial services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers significant visibility to executive leadership and provides a clear path toward future accounting leadership opportunities. The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated, and eager to take ownership of accounting processes while helping drive continuous improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Manage month-end and year-end close processes Perform account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet and income statement activity Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Support external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity Assist with process improvements and internal controls initiatives Collaborate with operational leaders to support financial decision-making Participate in special projects and strategic finance initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Demonstrated career stability and commitment Manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, or project-based accounting experience preferred CPA designation is a plus Ideal Candidate The successful candidate is a high-energy accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking on new challenges.
