Seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to work with young learners in an early childhood setting on a contract basis. This rewarding opportunity will have you serving children who require diagnostics, evaluations, and recommendations for physical therapy services, while also covering overflow from other therapists during a team member’s maternity leave. The caseload is part time (up to 20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule—though mornings are especially valued—to best meet the needs of the center and families. Your contribution will be vital in supporting students and collaborating with educational staff to foster each child's growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Missouri Physical Therapist license (please include license number in your application)
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and school-based service models
• Ability to efficiently conduct diagnostic assessments and write thorough evaluations
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills required
• Must work onsite; virtual/remote work is not considered for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations, prepare reports, and recommend services as appropriate
• Manage referrals and handle overflow caseloads, ensuring consistent and high-quality care
• Provide consultative support to treating PTs and school staff as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
• Communicate proactively with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
