Assistant Property Manager

Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Greenville, SC, supporting the day-to-day operations of commercial properties. This role assists with tenant relations by responding to inquiries, coordinating service requests, and supporting lease administration activities. The Assistant Property Manager helps monitor property conditions, liaises with vendors and maintenance teams, and contributes to scheduling inspections and routine upkeep. Additional responsibilities include basic financial and administrative tasks such as tracking expenses, preparing reports, maintaining records, and supporting compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role works closely with property management leadership to ensure properties are well-maintained, tenants receive timely support, and operational goals are met. Qualifications Property management support skills, including tenant communication, lease administration assistance, and vendor coordination. Organizational and administrative skills, such as scheduling, document management, and maintaining accurate records. Basic financial and reporting skills, including tracking expenses, preparing summaries, and assisting with budgeting tasks. Customer service and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and internal team members. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and willingness to learn property management systems. Ability to work on-site in Greenville, SC, manage multiple priorities, and follow established procedures with attention to detail. Previous experience in property management, commercial real estate, or a related administrative role is preferred but not required.
