Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

A growing and well-respected practice is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join its team. This role offers the chance to independently manage a defense caseload while working in a collaborative, well-supported environment with strong professional development opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a workers’ compensation defense caseload with autonomy and sound judgment.
  
  
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and hearings; successfully try cases as needed.
  
  
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with assigned clients.
  
  
• Participate in business development and marketing initiatives.
  
  
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
  
  
• Utilize technology to efficiently manage files and clients within a paperless environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of workers' compensation or relevant litigation experience.
  
  
• Licensed and in good standing to practice in North Carolina.
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
  
  
• Team-oriented with a commitment to collaborative success.
