Exciting Opportunity for a Travel Sonographer!

Job Description:

- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 196
- Total Staff: 800+
- Team Composition:
- Sonographers with RDMS (AB) or (OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS certifications
- Day Shift: 2 Full-Time Sonographers, 1 Full-Time Weekend Sonographer
- Night Shift: Covered via on-call from 11 PM to 7 AM

- Equipment & Technology:
- State-of-the-Art: GE Logiq e10, Parks Flo Lab, Trophon2
- EMR System: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

- On-Call Requirements:
- Rotating on-call shared among 7 Sonographers

- Floating Requirement:
- Must be versatile in performing General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound

- Essential Skills:
- Certifications Required:
- RDMS (AB) or (OB)
- RVT (VT) or RVS
- Must Hold: BLS Certification

- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Vascular, Pediatric, General, Procedural, Small Parts
- OR Experience is a plus

- Typical Procedures Performed:
- Abdomen, Pregnancy (1st & 2nd trimesters)
- Biophysical Profile
- Vascular (Venous Doppler, Arterial, Grafts, Segmental Pressure Testing)
- Biopsies, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis
- Testicular, NICU Neuro Sono Heads
- Surgery Cases, High-Level Disinfection for Intra-cavitary Probes
