Bring your expertise as a Sign Language Interpreter to support students and educators while collaborating with a dedicated team of DHH professionals and classroom staff. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the school year from August 24, 2026, to June 15, 2027, primarily based in the Eugene area. You will assist students on a consistent set of school campuses, focusing mainly on 1:1 interactions, ensuring a stable and meaningful working relationship.

What We’re Seeking:

• Completion of interpreter training and current interpreter certification
• IEPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Experience working in educational settings, collaborating with teams and supporting DHH students
• Confidence in working both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and organization for multi-site assignments throughout the school year
• Eagerness to provide references (required before interview)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and respectful sign language interpreting for students across elementary, middle, or high school settings according to your grade-level preferences
• Support educational access and engagement for DHH students in compliance with individualized learning plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, DHH staff, and administrators to adapt to students’ changing communication needs
• Maintain clear professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times
