Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Acute Care

Registered Nurse Endoscopy

Schedule: 4x9s (36 hours/week), Monday to Friday, shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, with scheduled call including two full weekends of call and one weekday per week.

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Contract Weeks: 22

Requirements:

• New York State Registered Nurse Licensure
• One (1) year experience in an Endoscopy Environment as a Registered Nurse
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications

Responsibilities:

• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the delivery of care to patients across various age groups.
• Assess patient and family needs to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to set goals and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families for self-care beyond hospitalization.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practice and engage in self-improvement activities.
• Ensure a healing environment by promoting patient comfort and emotional support.
