Staff Nurse

Job Description Position Title: Staff Nurse (LPN or RN) – Float Nurse Elementary Reports To: Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent Starting Date: Immediately Terms of Employment: Monday‑Friday, full‑time (7.5 hours, plus 30‑minute unpaid lunch) Qualifications: Valid PA RN or LPN license Experience with school‑aged children preferred Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible Essential Job Functions: Daily nursing duties including routine health assessments Dispensing medications and providing necessary health care/first aid Assisting on field trips across the district as needed Other duties as assigned Preemployment Paperwork Requirements: PA State Police Clearance (Act 34) Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151) FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114) School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test) PDE 6004 Form (Act 24) Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) Position Type: Full‑Time Salary: $27 to $31 per hour EEO/M/F/V/D Job Requirements At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
