Dialysis Clinical Coordinator

Career Opportunities with Rendevor Dialysis What You’ll Do: The Clinical Coordinator (CC) oversees overall operations and activities of the smaller-sized dialysis units operated by Rendevor Dialysis. Using clinical and dialysis expertise, the CC ensures quality measures are met by delivering safe dialysis treatments. Develops, trains, coaches, and acts as a resource for clinical teammates, coordinating activities with the technical personnel. Provides excellent customer service, maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and visibility with providers, DOC/BOP, managed healthcare organizations, post–acute, and hospitals. Handles financial management such as inventory, supplies, staffing efficiencies, and ensures compliance with company and state regulatory requirements. Reports directly to the Regional Director. Locations Plainfield, IN – Plainfield Correctional Facility (Monday – Saturday, 5:00 am – 4:30 pm) Indianapolis, IN – Marion County Jail (Monday/Wednesday/Friday; shift depends on patient census) Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent. Current RN license for Indiana and current CPR certification (or within three months of hire). At least one year of hemodialysis RN experience. Required Skills and Competencies Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and ensuring effective communication in English. Strong technical and computer proficiency (laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint). Ability to learn a variety of technical systems and equipment quickly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, ESRD, state and federal regulations, and company policies. Lead, coach, and guide clinical teammates; monitor in‑servicing and skills checks. Delegate tasks to maximize efficiency and hold team huddles to discuss unit goals. Utilize systems (MPulse, EMR, ADP, HCP, equipment) and ensure team compliance. Participate in onboarding, training, and education of new hires. Staffing Manage staff scheduling and assignments to maintain appropriate patient‑to‑staff ratios. Approve/deny PTO requests, send teammates home for low census, manage overtime. Maintain contact with PRN bench staff and coordinate schedule requirements. Ensure all clinical teammates maintain licenses and certifications. Participate in employee appreciation events, corrective action plans, and annual evaluations. Communicate staffing needs with Regional Director and Talent Partner. May participate in interviews and candidate selection when required. Clinical Deliver safe and effective patient care across all treatment modalities. Model thorough and accurate documentation; hold teammates to high standards. Participate actively in patient education and reinforce protocols. Take ownership of lab collections, documentation, and quality control measures. Participate in patient care review meetings as needed. Complete monthly facility audits, develop action plans to address deficiencies. Act as on‑site liaison to the corporate biomedical team and notify technicians of service requests. Maintain unit safety, cleanliness, and infection control. Advocate to client administration to remove restrictions that negatively affect patient outcomes. Ensure patients receive adequate medical attention while in the unit and maintain PHI integrity. Follow DOC and company policies, monitor staff compliance, supervise medical records, and engage in continuous learning of dialysis practices. Continuous Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement Collaborate with the Clinical Services team to meet CQI/QAPI initiatives and patient outcomes. Assist or lead the monthly completion of Rendevor application requirements. Ensure adequate resources for supporting the CQI/QAPI process. Communication Maintain open communication with facility personnel, managed care groups, providers, Rendevor management, biomedical team, and staff. Attend and participate in facility meetings as required. Respond daily to email using company‑provided email for all work‑related communications. Maintain an open‑door policy for teammates and uphold professionalism and privacy of confidential information. Payroll Record arrival and departure times via ADP’s system following HR guidelines. Assist new hires with access to the time system. Approve unit teammates’ timesheets in ADP when assigned. Accounting Review and submit treatment rosters within two days of month‑end. Submit unit supply orders to RAA and RD per the unit schedule. Ensure adequate supply inventory and manage emergency ordering. Coordinate atypical supply ordering with RD/RAA and purchasing. Business Development Act as an on‑site partner to the client and advocate for our company. Identify new dialysis opportunities and forward leads to supervisor. General Promote and implement the company’s mission, vision, and core values. Display excellent written and verbal communication skills. Maintain a professional demeanor and an open‑door policy. Respond promptly to feedback and assist colleagues and projects as assigned. Report incidents, work‑related injuries, and maintain RN license, CPR, and clean background. Adhere to all company policies and maintain reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervision Position reports to the Regional Director. Supervises clinical team members. Physical Demands The employee is required to stand, bend, walk, twist, crouch, use hands to handle or feel, and reach. At least 50 pounds may need to be lifted. The role requires close vision and ability to adjust focus. Full schedule ranges from five to fifteen hours per day based on unit needs.
