Server – Front of House (FOH)

Hyman’s Seafood is a family-owned Charleston landmark known for delivering high-volume service with genuine Southern hospitality. We serve thousands of guests each week and are looking for experienced Servers who can handle a fast-paced floor while maintaining a friendly, attentive guest experience.

This role is ideal for someone who moves with urgency, stays organized, and enjoys working in a high-energy, team-driven environment.

Position Overview

Servers are responsible for providing efficient, accurate, and hospitable service while managing multiple tables in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service to all guests
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter into POS system
• Manage multiple tables while maintaining service standards
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues with professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and support staff
• Process payments accurately and efficiently

Required Qualifications

• Prior serving experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to stay composed under pressure
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• High-volume, fast-paced environment
• On-your-feet role for extended periods
