Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM as needed) | Onsite | Every-other-weekend and holiday coverage required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health populations
• Deliver high-acuity care in a STEMI and Stroke-designated facility, supporting time-sensitive interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across specialty service lines including cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to facility scheduling expectations, including flexibility for occasional shift adjustments and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Experience in a STEMI and Stroke facility required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); valid driver's license required to confirm address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency setting
• Familiarity with cath lab or women's health support workflows
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
