Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day/Night Rotating Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts Only | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, monitoring and managing patients with complex cardiac and progressive care needs
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to designated units as operationally required to care for the same patient population
• Participate in required orientation assessments, annual competencies, and facility modules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience accepted
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum two attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care Unit experience
• 18 months of Stepdown experience obtained within a single facility location
