Cardiology Stepdown Nurse (Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity cardiology nursing care in a stepdown/PCU setting
• Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in a cardiology stepdown, IMC, or PCU environment
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience in a high-acuity cardiology unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry
