About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Location

Cleveland, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / IMC unit setting, managing a progressive care patient population
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments as required during orientation
• Float to designated units as needed to care for the same patient population
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required annual facility modules and competencies within established timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience in the specialty may be considered
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission (Compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open licensing or background case hits; facility does not accept any license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care experience preferred
• 18 months of experience within a single location preferred, though combined experience across locations will be considered
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments within the past 12 months
