Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily cash management and reconciliation activities within a high-volume environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining organized financial records.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track daily cash activity across multiple locations.
- Perform cash reconciliations and research discrepancies and variances.
- Review cash reports to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Investigate cash shortages, overages, and transaction irregularities.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support reconciliations.
- Assist with audits, reporting requests, and special projects.
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve cash-related issues and discrepancies.
- Escalate complex issues to management as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Prior accounting, bookkeeping, cash reconciliation, or related experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- High degree of accuracy and commitment to maintaining financial integrity.
