PrideStaff, Central Oregon's Professional Recruiting firm is seeking a hands-on HR Manager for our client to lead the people function at a manufacturing facility. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will shape the employee experience, strengthen engagement and retention, and ensure HR programs support both employees and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with plant leadership to develop people strategies that improve engagement, retention, recognition, inclusion, and talent development.
• Lead the site HR function and coach HR team members to deliver consistent, high-quality support.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, investigations, performance management, employment practices, and workforce decisions.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits and compensation administration, HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping processes.
• Implement HR policies and procedures while supporting compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Analyze workforce metrics and coach leaders on expectations, feedback, recognition, and performance improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; professional HR certification preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive HR experience, including at least two years in an HR leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and communicate effectively with leaders and employees at all levels.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll or timekeeping systems, workforce data, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work onsite in a non-temperature-controlled facility and meet the role's physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
