Medical Laboratory Scientist (Part Time/Night Shift) The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Journeyman) is responsible for the accurate, timely reporting of high-complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/CLS JRN personnel perform pre‑analytical, analytical, and post‑analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, instrument maintenance, and problem resolution. They often collaborate with acute‑care and outpatient caregivers and other Laboratory Services staff to complete their duties. Providence caregivers are not simply valued — they’re invaluable. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS‑accredited MLS program or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist – American Society for Clinical Pathology or Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist – American Society for Clinical Pathology or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – American Society for Clinical Pathology or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – American Medical Technologists or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist – American Medical Technologist At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a laboratory department or performing duties that meet or exceed those in the MLS I job description Preferred Qualifications 3 years of clinical laboratory experience in a moderate‑ and high‑complexity laboratory Benefits Our best‑in‑class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security. Pay Range: $37.84 – $58.75 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
