About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Consultant Relations to spearhead capital raising initiatives by cultivating and overseeing relationships with investment consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing consultant coverage and capital raising strategies, with a primary focus on expanding consultant networks, generating new business, and collaborating with internal teams to support fundraising efforts across private markets and multi-asset strategies. This role demands a professional with a strong background in consultant relations, institutional sales, or capital raising within the asset management sector, and a deep understanding of the institutional investment landscape. Applicants for the Vice President of Consultant Relations position at the company should hold an undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field, with an MBA, CFA, or CAIA being preferred. A minimum of 8 years' experience in the industry is required, along with a proven track record of driving asset growth and strong existing relationships with U.S. and global investment consultants. The role also necessitates the ability to prepare and deliver high-quality client communications, represent investment strategies in various settings, and monitor market trends and competitive dynamics. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented professional with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, and the ability to travel frequently to manage regional coverage responsibilities.
