Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate issued by SBEC with assignment-appropriate certification
• Effective September 1, 2025: must hold Special Education EC–12 certificate or meet current SBEC rules
• Demonstrated experience or training in special education teaching
• Flexible to accommodate varying caseloads and ages

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with diverse needs
• Adapt classroom strategies to best serve individualized education plans
• Collaborate with faculty, support staff, and families to foster a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards
• Work full time with campus hours: Elementary 7:10-3:45, Secondary 7:40-4:15 (transportation may influence timing)
