Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers two positions: one working with early childhood students (ECSE) and one supporting a RISE caseload at the middle school level. Join a collaborative and compassionate educational environment, working closely with students and para-professionals to empower learners of all abilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate issued by SBEC
- Appropriate certification for Special Education assignments
- By September 1, 2025, must hold Special Education EC–12 certification or meet updated SBEC requirements
- Experience with direct-service special education caseloads strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise and support para-professionals (for ECSE assignment)
- Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage a caseload of 10–12 direct-service students (middle school RISE) or 12–14 students (ECSE)
- Deliver high-quality individualized instruction to students in line with IEP goals
- Lead, guide, and support a classroom team that may include para-professionals
- Collaborate with general education staff to facilitate successful student integration and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with state and district special education policies
- Communicate effectively with families and staff, providing updates and support
