Motion Graphic Artist

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Motion Graphic Artist , to join a multinational entertainment conglomerate in New York, NY. This is a 4-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description:

• The Motion Graphics Artist will be responsible for designing and editing video and graphic material for branded custom content, marketing initiatives, events, and advertising campaigns across company's entire portfolio of linear, digital, and streaming properties.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motion graphics, animation, visual effects, and video editing with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
• This role requires a willingness to collaborate and works closely with the entire creative team including writers, producers, creative directors, designers, and video editors.
• This position requires in-depth, professional knowledge of the latest animation, video editing, and VFX techniques, as well as a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, accurately executing creative to meet tight deadlines.
• The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building sophisticated motion graphics and crafting compelling stories through video editing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create motion graphics, implement VFX, and edit a variety of video deliverables, including advertising for linear, streaming, digital, and social; ad products, graphics packages, event collateral, interstitials, sizzle reels, case studies, and more.
• This position requires a strong attention to detail and expert familiarity with the following techniques:
  • 2D and 3D Animation
  • Motion Tracking
  • Keying
  • Rotoscoping
  • Compositing
  • Color Correcting
  • Retouching
  • Typography
  • AI tools
  • Video Editing
• Respond to feedback from the creative team and stakeholders accurately and creatively to ensure a unified vision is properly executed
• Manage multiple editorial projects simultaneously through all steps of post-production - from concepting through finishing and delivery.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must be willing to submit a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years professional motion graphics experience; experience in television entertainment and advertising industries preferred
• Intimate knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; Cinema The Client and Element 3D a plus
• Professional video editing capabilities required
• Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite; specifically Photoshop, Illustrator
• Familiar with all relevant video formats and codecs
• Strong understanding of the most current design and animation trends
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
• Self-motivated and comfortable collaborating in a team environment
