Our popular restaurant is looking for a forward-thinking and talented chef to give our guests a great dining experience. We require an effective supervisor who can produce innovative menus and recipes, oversee all food leaving the kitchen, and guarantee health and safety regulations are met. Our ideal candidate is an inventive culinary leader who can recruit and develop great personnel to provide guests with a top-notch dining experience. Compensation:$60,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen
- Coordinate all kitchen food preparation, including processes, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are presented elegantly
- Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees
- Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit
- Manage controllable department expenses such as food, supplies, uniforms, equipment, and collaborate with vendors to achieve the highest quality products at the most reasonable price
- Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
- Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage
- Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
The Brae Loch Inn is a Cazenovia institution, serving guests since 1946. The restaurant had been family-owned for all 79 years and continues to honor its Scottish roots.
