Patient RegistrarThe Patient Registrar will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring accurate registration, exceptional customer service, and efficient front-desk operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining smooth patient flow and supporting emergency department operations.Key responsibilities include:Welcome and assist patients in a professional and compassionate mannerRegister patients at the front desk and within the emergency departmentVerify, collect, and update patient demographic informationObtain required signatures and ensure completion of all registration documentationEnter and update patient information within the electronic tracking systemMaintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced, high-volume settingQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredStrong customer service and communication skillsComfortable using computer systems and learning new technologyAbility to remain calm, professional, and friendly in stressful situationsConfident handling patient interactions and resolving concerns respectfullyMust be open to floating to different locations in the East ValleyMust be open to working afternoons and/or overnightsMust be open to working weekendsAdditional details:Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on availabilityStart Date: ASAPSystem Used: CernerWork Environment: Professional, collaborative, and supportivePerks:Different shifts and locationsOpportunity to gain hospital and emergency department experienceSupportive team environmentPotential for long-term employmentAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
