What you will do Insurance Sales Specialists support the sales function by educating and transacting consultatively with truck and construction equipment insurance buyers and key influencers. They help customers optimize their insurance programs, make them aware of both traditional and new products, guide them in assembling underwriting information for expedient quotes, explain benefits, and ensure thorough coverage. They develop collaborative relationships with prospects, customers, and stakeholders across the Volvo Group that positively impact businesses. Responsibilities Support the sales team's development of new and expansion of existing Volvo Truck customer accounts, including targeted Mack Truck and Volvo Construction Equipment accounts. Coordinate and conduct insurance and related training sessions for dealer and VFS personnel. Deliver insurance services, policies, and procedures in accordance with company business standards. Maintain compliance with all insurance and company regulatory requirements. Qualifications Education / Certifications BA/BS in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred. Advanced insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM are a plus. Current P&C license with ability to obtain licenses in non‑resident states. Life, Accident & Health licensure is a plus. Experience Proven experience of 2+ years in commercial insurance; trucking or construction equipment insurance experience a plus. Experience working with multiple insurance carriers to provide complete commercial lines P&C solutions. Proven experience in sales and building and maintaining a book of commercial lines insurance business. Skills Required Effective interaction with small and large accounts and comfort with commercial insurance buyers and influencers. Confidence and comfort making frequent phone calls to customers. Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication. Effective presentation and consultation skills to earn trusted advisor status. Proven problem‑solving and customer service skills that earn trust. Strong organizational and planning skills for building and executing a sales plan to achieve targets.
