Operations Specialist IThe Operations Specialist I role is FULL-TIME, HYBRID, with an expectation of remote work after a suitable training period and acceptable level of competency has been reached. If you enjoy solving problems, working with details, collaborating across teams, and keeping operations running efficiently, this could be the role for you.We're looking for an Operations Specialist I to join our Operations team and help support the critical systems and processes that keep our credit union moving every day.What You'll DoNo two days look exactly the same in this role, and that's part of what makes it exciting.Depending on your level of experience and the needs of the department, you will support a variety of operational functions, including:Payments & TransactionsProcess ACH transactions, exceptions, returns, and periodic paymentsHandle incoming and outgoing wire transfersSupport debit card and ATM transaction processingAccount & Member SupportResearch and resolve account-related issuesAssist branches and call center teams with operational questionsSupport deceased account processing and IRA transactionsCheck & Cash OperationsProcess daily check files and exceptionsAssist with ATM cash ordering and balancingHelp manage negative account activity and recovery effortsReconciliation & ReportingReconcile general ledger accountsTrack and maintain operational records electronicallyUse Excel and other systems to analyze and organize dataTeam SupportPartner with teammates across departmentsStep in as backup support when neededHelp improve operational efficiency and service standardsThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and likes being the person others can count on.Why You'll Like It HereAt First Flight, operations is more than processing transactions.
