Work Environment\n

The position typically runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some agility may be required to meet patient’s needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and individualized interviews.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize evidence-based strategies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups tailored to issues faced by patients, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and holistic treatment for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support to patients during urgent mental health situations, employing a calm and systematic approach.

• Educate patients about mental health conditions and available treatment modalities while connecting them with appropriate community resources.

• Maintain diligent documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

The primary clientele consists of adults experiencing various mental health challenges, as well as couples and families seeking assistance in navigating their relational dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

St. Arnold Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
