Weekly pay: $2,125.00–$2,306.00 per week Guaranteed hours: 48 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: 3x12 days Start date: 08/17/2026 Work setting: Home healthcare – hospice travel assignment Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group following established standards of care and the nursing process Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels, coordinating with other disciplines Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to develop, implement, and adjust care plans Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and modify plans to promote safety and healing Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education; ensure continuity of care across transitions Delegate duties appropriately and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, compassionate care environment Requirements Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) — Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification; hospital or facility-specific BLS as required Specialty/Competency: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; ACLS required per policy; EPIC electronic health record experience required within the last 12 months Additional: Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting; EPIC backfill experience preferred Benefits and Support 8-week travel assignment with guaranteed 48 hours per week EPIC backfill assignment with requirement for recent EPIC experience Dedicated staffing support and travel coordination through Healthforce Healthcare LLC Competitive weekly pay consistent with the stated range
