Position Overview

Our organization is on the lookout for a seasoned and innovative Medical Director to spearhead the growth and enhancement of the Structural Heart Disease program within our prestigious healthcare system. Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the comprehensive development of the Structural Heart Disease program, ensuring the provision of exceptional patient care, educational initiatives, and research activities.
• Build and nurture collaborative partnerships with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, create innovative treatment protocols, and promote clinical excellence in the realm of Structural Heart Disease.
• Oversee and engage in clinical operations, including patient consultations, outpatient services, and invasive procedures conducted in the Cath Lab.
• Lead and support research initiatives within the program, promoting the investigation of new treatment options, clinical trials, and contributions to academic literature.
• Drive educational efforts by mentoring, teaching, and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows, thereby cultivating a culture of academic excellence and professional growth.
• Work alongside administrative leadership to ensure the program adheres to institutional, regulatory, and quality assurance standards, while also promoting program expansion and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from a recognized institution.
• Board certification in Cardiology with specialized training and expertise in Structural Heart Disease.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare environment, ideally within an academic or research-oriented setting.
• A strong track record of academic achievements, including publications, research funding, and active involvement in scholarly pursuits.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Florida.
