Maintenance Mechanic

We are currently seeking full-time Maintenance Mechanics for our manufacturing/bottling facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations.

Sign On Bonus: $2500.00 payable after 90 days of employment

Factory Location: Breinigsville, PA (Allentown - West)

Compensation: $37.12 / hour

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked

Schedule: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am start, Night Shift, 2/2/3 rotational

Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs; Must be able to attend training up to 12 weeks during the day 5 am – 5 pm [night shift only]

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform maintenance tasks to include repairing and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment
• Dismantle, clean, repair, and test electrical, electronic, and mechanical components to determine component-level failure
• Support equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractors
• Maintain preventative maintenance logs and accurate records of all testing and repairs
• Identify all potential mechanical and electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant
• Troubleshoot/investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• 3 (three) or more years of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred
• Preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, troubleshooting using a data driven systematic approach, rebuilding equipment, lifting, rigging, lubrication
• Successfully demonstrates strong mechanical abilities
• Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
• Ability to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)
• Proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification
• Candidates must be flexible to support business needs, able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime; and to be able to work (On Call) in emergency situations.
