We are seeking a candidate who is a collaborative business partner and deeply committed to compliance and continuous improvement. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a proactive approach to maintaining regulatory standards and driving innovative practices within HR operations. This is a high‑impact executive leadership role where your strategic vision, people leadership, and HR expertise will shape the effectiveness of Oregon’s public workforce and the success of statewide initiatives. As the DAS HR Director, you will serve as the agency’s senior HR policy advisor and Appointing Authority, directing HR strategy, operations, and policy implementation for an agency of approximately 1,000 employees. You will also oversee the statewide HR Client Agency Program—ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and customer‑centered HR services to small and diverse agencies across state government.
