Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide compassionate individual and couples therapy to a diverse clientele, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress through timely record-keeping and completion of session notes.

• Manage scheduling for ongoing client sessions, ensuring a streamlined calendar to accommodate both client needs and therapist availability.

• Utilize a third-party billing service to administer claims, oversee client and insurance accounts, and ensure accuracy in payment plans.

• Embrace collaboration with fellow therapists to enhance treatment approaches, share knowledge, and uphold a high standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will cater to clients of various ages, including children, teens, adults, and couples, each facing unique challenges. You will draw upon your clinical expertise to address a wide range of issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship difficulties, while tailoring therapy techniques to fit individual needs and goals. Your work will directly influence the well-being of clients, fostering resilience and guiding them toward healthier lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.

• Demonstrable professionalism with strong therapeutic boundaries and a commitment to cultural competency.

• Exceptional self-motivation, self-sufficiency, as well as robust organizational and time-management abilities.

• Availability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours each week, including at least two evenings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Significant training and/or experience in couples therapy is highly desirable, providing an added advantage in managing relationship-focused sessions.

• A history of developing and implementing effective therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse clinical presentations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
