Palliative Care Advanced Provider I (NP/PA)

Lee Health is looking for Advanced Practice Providers that are passionate about Hospice and Palliative Care to join our team! Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group is looking for an experienced Palliative Care Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (APRNs) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy growing practices in Fort Myers. We have a long established Palliative Care program that is integrated into the health system. It will be hospital-based care as part of a multidisciplinary team with physician and medical social work support. EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation for both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday
• Covering 1-2 weekend days a month; service is 7 days a week
• Will have dedicated location but may be asked to cover other locations based on census
• EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation for both inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications:

• Board Certified APRN or PA
• Active license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain this license prior to start)
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Experience working in palliative care required
