Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and environmental needs, ensuring tailored support and care.

• Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention for clients in detox.

• Research, refer, and advocate for essential community resources, including healthcare, housing, childcare, and financial assistance, enabling clients to improve their overall well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services, effectively managing emergency situations such as mental health crises or instances of child abuse.

• Continuously monitor clients' progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they receive the support needed for successful recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with clients at our detox center, many of whom are battling substance use disorders and may also be experiencing co-occurring mental health conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities of addiction, trauma-informed care, and the development of individualized strategies to enhance clients' quality of life through effective support and resources.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• License: Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.

• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services, with a preferred background working in health-related settings. Experience working with Veterans is a plus.

• Strong understanding of mental health conditions and best practices for intervention and treatment.

• Exceptional listening and interview skills aimed at uncovering client needs and formulating appropriate treatment strategies.

• Effective verbal communication skills to engage and counsel patients empathetically.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The estimated salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
