Hospice Revenue Specialist III

Who we are looking for...We are looking for a Hospice Revenue Specialist III who is responsible for overseeing all hospice billing operations, including claims processing. This role ensures accurate and timely billing in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and regulatory requirements while maximizing revenue cycle performance. Axxess fosters a collaborative culture that fuels innovation and excellence and is recognized nationally as a “Best Place to Work.”What you will do…Onboarding of new clients including initial inventory evaluation, reviewing account setup, communicating client responsibilities, and reinforcing expectations to client.Performing daily Hospice billing and posting activities for all assigned clientsPerforming accounts receivable analysis for all clients to maximize client cash flowReviewing pre-billing activities in client software to identify potential risks and improvement opportunitiesProcess monthly invoices and reviewing for accuracyEngaging clients to ensure appropriate communications are maintainedEntering and responding to Help Desk service ticketsMaintain compliance with CMS regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and hospice billing standardsStay current on changes in hospice reimbursement regulations and payer requirementsProviding suggestions for process, systems and service improvementsWhat you bring…Bachelor's degree required5+ years of Hospice billing experience required3+ years of experience working with Clearinghouses, Black Screen/DDE requiredStrong knowledge of Medicare Hospice billing regulations and reimbursementUnderstanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and UB-04 claim formsStrong written and verbal communication skills and leadership abilitiesDetailed-oriented with strong organizational skillsAxxess is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
