Job Summary

T he Mach inist is responsible for helping provide safe, efficient and reliable product and service delivery to customers, and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery. The Machinist ensures equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands, and maintains shop and field equipment.

Job Description

• Support CNC machining and programming activities.
• Read and interpret measurement data using precision metrology equipment.
  
• Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize machining processes.
  
• Follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
  
• Learn and apply company-specific machining techniques and programming practices.
  
• Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.

Skills Required

• Candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience
• Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and adapt to established processes.
  
• Basic computer skills.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
  
• Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments, including: Micrometers and Calipers
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Overtime may be available but is not required.)

Preferred Skills

• CNC programming experience.
• Familiarity with FANUC controls.
  
• Experience with Mazatrol (Mazak) programming/software.
  
• Knowledge of G-Code programming (desirable but not required).
  
• Forklift experience is a plus
  
• Mechanical aptitude.

Education

• Req uired: Associate's Degree in Machine Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Machining, or a related field preferred.
• Candidates without a degree should possess relevant machining experience, apprenticeship experience, or technical training.

Pay rate

• $21 - $25 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
