SAP EPPM & PS Consultant – 10 Years Experience (Banking Industry) Summary Senior SAP Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM) and Project System (PS) Consultant with 10+ years of experience delivering project governance, financial control, and portfolio management solutions for banking and financial services organizations. Specializes in implementing SAP‑based frameworks for IT transformation programs, regulatory compliance initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, digital banking projects, and enterprise‑wide change portfolios. Strong expertise in aligning SAP project processes with banking controls, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards. Key Responsibilities Implement SAP EPPM and PS to support large‑scale banking programs such as Core Banking Modernization, Digital Channels, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and Regulatory Compliance (Basel, AML, KYC, IFRS) . Configure Portfolio Management for prioritization of IT and business initiatives based on risk, regulatory impact, ROI, and strategic alignment. Establish governance workflows for project approvals, budget releases, change requests, and audit trails required in financial institutions. Solution Design & Implementation Lead blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare for SAP EPPM and PS modules. Design WBS structures, networks, activities, milestones, and cost planning models tailored to banking project types (IT projects, compliance projects, infrastructure upgrades). Configure budgeting, forecasting, cost control, settlement, and financial integration aligned with banking cost centers and GL structures. Implement resource planning for internal teams, vendor partners, and managed service providers. Financial & Regulatory Integration Integrate SAP PS/EPPM with FI/CO to ensure accurate cost capture, capitalization, depreciation, and regulatory reporting. Support project accounting for CapEx vs OpEx , ensuring compliance with banking financial policies. Enable milestone billing, vendor cost tracking, and contract management for technology and consulting partners. Ensure audit‑ready documentation, traceability, and compliance with SOX, internal controls, and financial governance. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work with IT, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Procurement, and PMO teams to align SAP project processes with enterprise standards. Integrate PS/EPPM with MM, SD, PP, PM, CATS, HR for procurement, time tracking, resource management, and vendor operations. Support PMO with dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for project health, risk, and financial performance. Deliver L2/L3 support for SAP EPPM and PS, ensuring stability and compliance with banking operational standards. Optimize project processes to improve cost transparency, forecasting accuracy, and governance maturity. Implement SAP best practices for project lifecycle management in regulated environments. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of hands‑on SAP PS and EPPM experience, preferably in banking or financial services. Strong understanding of IT project governance, regulatory programs, and financial controls . Expertise in WBS, networks, cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, settlement, and reporting. Deep knowledge of SAP Portfolio Management, Project Management, Resource Management, and CPM. Experience integrating with FI/CO , MM , SD , PP , PM , CATS , HR . Strong knowledge of CapEx/OpEx , financial compliance, and audit requirements. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications SAP PS or EPPM certification. Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
