Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift: 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be proficient in a variety of nursing practices essential for managing complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer heparin drips and blood products, and manage central and peripheral line care.
• Provide colostomy and feeding tube care, including maintenance and education.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage O2 protocols.
• Conduct phlebotomy, IV starts, and manage PICC lines.
• Perform tracheostomy care and wound management.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and maintain compliance with all patient care protocols.
• Float to similar units as required and support interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• Active RN license required; compact state license pending approval is acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Experience with Epic documentation is necessary.
• Prior experience in a trauma or neuro unit is a plus.
