Specializes in rebuilding and restoring structures that have been damaged due to natural disasters, fire, water, or general deterioration. They work on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring that the structures are rebuilt safely, efficiently, and up to code.Responsibilities and Duties:Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.Fits and installs window frames, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter's level, plumb bob, and laser levels.Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repairs or replaces, using hand tools.Inspects ceiling or floor tiles, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.Cleans up worksite debris.Provides excellent customer service while working under time constraints to meet specific timelines.Qualification:Minimum 3-5 years of construction experience required.Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project needs.Good communication skills to collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and clients.Knowledgeable in building code and construction math.Work within a team, or independently.Basic computer/tablet skills.Valid Driving License and pass MVR check.Must be able to pass a background check.Must be able to pass a drug screen.Physical Requirements:Operates mostly in the field at work sites/client locations.Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more).Frequent lifting assisted and unassisted depending on weight limitations.Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding positions for extended periods.Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including indoors and outdoors.Confined or limited spaces, providing limited access or mobility at times.Heights are over 5 feet, when necessary.Salary: $25.00-$30.00 plus overtime and on-call bonusBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401k with up to 4% company matchPaid Vacation timePaid Sick time6 paid holidays annually, 1 floating holidayWeekly pay
