Medical Receptionist

*Job Description*

* Responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls for the Ophthalmology/Eye Care Department, serving as the first point of contact for patients seeking care.
* This role schedules initial consultations and follow-up appointments, completes new patient registration, and ensures accurate collection and verification of patient demographic and insurance information.
* Provides exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, coordinating appointment needs, and facilitating a seamless patient experience.
* Additional responsibilities may include cross-training to support front desk operations and patient check-in processes, such as greeting patients, verifying insurance coverage, updating patient records, collecting required documentation, and coordinating patient flow within the clinic.
* The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
*Start Date:* 8/10
*Pay:* $25.16/Hr
*Schedule:* Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
*Location: *St. Louis Park
*Duration:* 6 Month Contract
*Qualifications:*

* 1+ year of receptionist experience
* Medical receptionist experience preferred
* Experience using Epic
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of St. Louis Park, MN.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.16 - $25.16/hr.
