Staff Accountant - Direct Hire Salary: $65-75K Location: Mt. Holly/Huntersville area Schedule: Fully onsite with potential for 1 remote day Environment: Quiet, casual, laid-back, and professional Dress Code: Business casual Position: Newly created role due to company growth Reports to: Corporate Controller Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Role Overview Hands-on Staff Accountant role supporting two companies Responsible for a variety of core accounting functions, including: Accounts payable General ledger Cash application Bank reconciliations Sales & use tax Month-end and year-end close Prepare and post journal entries and adjusting entries in accordance with US GAAP Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and recurring entries Review and record corporate credit card expenses Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Assist with audits and financial reviews Support tax consultants with tax filings and compliance Help identify process improvements and automation opportunities Provide backup support for AP and AR/collections as needed Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
