Program/Project Coordinator to the MIT Committee on Animal Care

Program/Project Coordinator to the MIT Committee on Animal Care – Division of Comparative Medicine Process all aspects of protocol review for new protocols, renewals, procedural addenda, and new personnel addenda to extant protocols. Evaluate protocol submissions and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and institutional requirements. Pre-review submissions prior to triaging for veterinary review. Determine the level of review required (i.e., full committee or designated member). Keep investigators informed of the status of their submissions. Relay post-review comments to investigators and ensure investigators’ responses are complete prior to sending for re-review. Monitor protocol expiration dates and review response dates to prevent interruption in approval. Assist with the preparation of meeting agendas. Attend monthly meetings of the CAC and any ad hoc meetings. Record minutes of these meetings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
