Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Atlassian System Administrator to manage and support Jira and Confluence Cloud environments. The candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in Atlassian administration, automation, scripting, and end‑user enablement. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Jira Service Management (JSM) environments. Configure and manage JSM portals, request types, SLAs, workflows, and automation rules. Design, implement, and optimize Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions. Manage Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and content structure. Develop and maintain automation scripts and integrations using scripting languages such as Python and Java. Leverage Atlassian Rovo and Rovo Agents to enhance productivity, automation, and AI‑driven use cases. Troubleshoot platform issues and provide L3 support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and user requests. Maintain and optimize plugins, integrations, and marketplace apps. Support user onboarding, training sessions, and documentation. Monitor system usage, performance, and compliance with governance standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands‑on experience with Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM) and third‑party apps like Tempo, Xray, Script runner and Structure. Experience working with Rovo Agents. Hands on experience in scripting and automation -- Python, Java (or similar languages) is a must. Proficiency in REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations. Experience in configuring and managing automation rules (triggers, conditions, actions). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to train and support end users across different teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Exposure to Data Center to Cloud migration. Knowledge of governance, security, and access management in Atlassian Cloud. Experience 6 years of experience in Atlassian administration (Jira, Confluence, JSM).
