Technical Support Specialist (Modifications)

Pay: $69.00- $79.00 per hour DOE

Responsibilities:

• Conduct field walkdowns with Engineering, Design, Planning, and Implementation teams to support project development and execution.
• Review drawings, work orders, technical notices, and work instructions to ensure safe, quality, and efficient implementation.
• Coordinate with Planning and Quality Control to verify inspection requirements and proper work order coding.
• Assist in developing technical notices (TNs), work instructions, and implementation documentation.
• Support pre-job briefings and provide technical guidance to craft personnel.
• Provide field oversight during project implementation to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved designs and procedures.
• Resolve field issues by coordinating with Engineering, Planning, and Implementation teams.
• Support Engineering Change (EC) revisions and Advanced Work Authorization (AWA) processes as needed.
• Lead validation of technical notices, test procedures, and work instructions associated with engineering changes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical, engineering support, maintenance, construction, or industrial project experience.
• Strong understanding of work planning, quality control, technical procedures, and field implementation activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work packages, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
